Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen regards it as a death sentence when she volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the Games. However, survival is second nature to her so she soon becomes a contender, but before she can win she will have to start making choices that weight survival against humanity and life against love.
Personal Feelings:
I really enjoyed this book. The movie is coming out so I thought that I would read the book to see what it was all about. I didn't think that I would like it that much but I found myself staying up late to read it.
