Summary:
The year is 2035, the place is underground.  Convict James Cole (Bruce Willis) reluctantly volunteers to time travel back to 1996 to discover the origin of a deadly virus that nearly killed the earths entire population.  However, he is sent back to 1990 instead and winds up in a mental hospital where he meets a psychiatrist (Madeleine Stowe) and the son (Brad Pitt) of a famous virus expert (Christoher Plummer).
